secured and protected data delivery
The DiscVision Push-VoD technology is a generic technology for the transmission of any type of files over a unidirectional DVB network to a large number of clients. The technology has been successfully used in various DVB networks in Europe covering satellite distribution on various satellites and various satellite headends, as well as terrestrial distribution using DVB-T networks. The Push-VoD technology of DiscVision allows the secured and protected delivery of files to distributed receivers (either DVB receivers with integrated hard disk or attached network, or PC clients with integrated DVB receiver cards) as well as live TV transmission of scheduled videos that send MPEG video files as live streams using IP-over-DVB and decode the receiving MPEG content directly at the site of the client.
